Lip Jin graduated from Kent University, Canterbury in 1988. He was in the stockbroking industry for four years in Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur before proceeding with his Bar Vocational Course in London. He was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales in July 1994 as a Barrister-at-Law of Grays Inn. After completing his pupillage with Messrs Lee Hishammuddin, he commenced practice at Messrs Lee Choon Wan & Co in January 1996, made a partner of the firm three years later, and in the process gained invaluable experience by handling a wide range of corporate matters mostly with merchant banks and public listed companies.

Lip Jin’s scope of experience includes advising on securities industry law, local and foreign joint ventures, technical assistance agreements and intellectual property work.

Lip Jin is mainly in charge of the conveyancing department in our firm and has handled a wide range of property projects from the high-end development side (ONE KL, Madge U-Thant Residence, Bellworth Greens Project), to advisory on the Mid Valley City and the Gardens Management as well as other niche developments.
